Last month, I opened my inbox to receive an email titled “Make your own Cam & Greg out of paper”.  It was from Sally in Toronto who wrote in:

“I made a paper version of Greg and Cam. I hope this does not mean my love of Steam Whistle has gone too far!”

Too far? NO WAY! What a creative Good Beer Folk I thought.

I couldn’t  help but be intrigued to find out more about this Sally from Toronto and to share her story with you….

Who is the face behind the paper dolls?

Why paper dolls?

I first starting making paper people a few years ago. The first ones I made were of a band I love from the UK called Ralfe Band, and I thought it would be a funny thing to do. I am not sure they thought it was as funny as I did and possibly they just thought I was really odd….

How did you meet Steam Whistle?

The first time I had Steam Whistle I was spending the day in the pub assembling a pop-up book …

It turns out putting together a pop-up book is not a quick or easy  thing to do and before I knew it I had drank a rather large amount of Steam Whistle. I liked the fact that it was so tasty and easy to drink and did not fill you up like lots of beers and I also noticed I was hangover free the next day. Bonus!

Why Cam & Greg?

I decided to make Cam and Greg after going on the Steam Whistle tour as I thought they would like them and wanted to have my paper people sitting somewhere in the Steam Whistle Brewery. Once something gets into my head making paper people is my only way of removing it! :)

Anyone else  have a unique Good Beer Folk story to share? We’d love to hear it!
Send it our way!

Cheers,
Marina.
