well, it’s hard to pin point. so many little lessons that tied together and ones that have resonated more as the years passed. but now that i am the proud father of a beautiful little girl with the world at her fingertips, i now realize one main thing that my father ALWAYS wanted me to key in on… BE THERE!!! through thick and thin, come hell or high water, NEVER stop loving and ALWAYS encourage growth! you CAN’T do ANY of these things if you don’t let your child know that you ARE there for them. my daughter will always have a safety net in me, no matter how threadbare… daddy will be there to count on!
