Got a unique design in mind for a skateboard?

Steam Whistle is looking for creative individuals to design skateboard decks for Steam Whistle's Design a Deck 2010: a contest set up to bring together beer, skateboarding & design. We need you to transform this blank canvas into a work of art, we're giving you creative control - paint it, carve it, cut it up, just be sure to include something Steam Whistle in your masterpiece.

To enter, fill out the submission form on the right, or fire us an email with a copy of your design to designadeckalberta@steamwhistle.ca. Submission packages may also be mailed in to Steam Whistle Alberta, 303 - 2010 35th Ave. S.W. Calgary, Alberta, T2T 1W3.

Entries will be accepted from October 1st to October 24th, 2010 and reviewed by our Design a Deck Team. Selected artists will be provided with a blank Steam Whistle deck, white Vans slip on shoe to accompany their board, a $150 honourarium & a wrap up party to display their designed boards.

No purchase necessary. To be eligible to win, you must agree to the rules and regulations of this contest and have a design submitted between October 1st and October 24, 2010. To enter, complete the online submission form including skateboard design by October 24, 2010. Designs can also be emailed to designadeckalberta@steamwhistle.ca, mailed in to Steam Whistle Alberta, 303 - 2010 35th Ave. S.W. Calgary, Alberta, T2T 1W3. Contest is open to legal residents of Alberta; who have reached the age of 19 on the date of their entry. Designs will be juried by Steam Whistle's Design a Deck Team and become the property of Steam Whistle once submitted. Contest opens October 1, 2010 at 12:00 am and closes October 24, 2010 at 11:59 pm.
