Join us in supporting our olympic althletes with CANFUND

Steam Whistle's motto “Do One Thing Really, Really Well” can best be exemplified by Olympic athletes who dedicate their lives to a singular goal of excellence. Steam Whistle Brewing has been sponsoring CANFund for the last two years, and will be hosting parties for the Olympic Opening Ceremony, Women's Gold Hockey and Closing Ceremony at the brewery in Toronto. CANFund will also be exclusively serving Steam Whistle Pilsner at CANFund House in Vancouver during the Olympics. We are cheering for Team Canada and encourage everyone to check out www.canadianathletesnow.ca. Watch their youtube interview here.

A new train for Roundhouse Park Toronto Railway Heritage Association

This past few months, many volunteers have been working tirelessly to install a new feature of Roundhouse Park – a small scale operating steam locomotive that will be offering rides to visitors next spring. A number of railway heritage buildings have also been moved to the park outside Steam Whistle’s doors to form the soon-to-be-open Toronto Railway Heritage Centre.

The Steam Whistle Mail Bag

"Thank-You for providing a part of Canada to our serving members of the Canadian Forces. My Son is currently with 3 PPCLI serving in Afghanistan with the OMLT, on Christmas Day he was able to call home and one of the highlights of his Christmas in Afghanistan was his allotment of two Steam Whistle Beer. The symbolism of your unselfish contribution goes well beyond two Beer it's this show of support towards our Troops by you and many Canadians that brings tears to the eyes of the worried parents at home. Near the end of January our son will be coming to Trenton for his mid-tour leave, we will make time to sit down and have a Steam Whistle together. Again I would like to express my thanks to you."
