Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival

We are excited to announce that will be hosting the first ever Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival on August 11th and 12th from noon 'til six. Ontario Craft Brewers have teamed up to host a downtown Toronto beer festival in Roundhouse Park where long-time beer fans and those newly discovering the craft beer movement can sample & savour offerings from local producers.

Enjoy and pair spicy ales, crisp lagers, seasonal and experimental beers with fare from gourmet food trucks:

Ride to Conquer

We were fortunate enough to be able to serve our Pilsner during the 2012 Ride To Conquer Cancer in Alberta and Ontario. Cheers to everyone who participated and took part in the ride! In total, we served over 21,500 Pilsners to thirsty riders! Cheers to that!

The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer® is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for a great cause. Even people who haven't ridden since they were twelve. All you need is motivation, a bike, and a helmet. The rest is history. Be part of it.

For more info and how you can get involved next year, take a look at the official website.

Summer Vacation Tips

Canada is a great country with lots to offer, and it doesn’t hurt exploring it with a Steam Whistle in hand with our friends from Porter and VIA Rail. To give you some tips, we asked you what your favourite spots to vacation were on our Twitter and Facebook. Here’s what you said:

@michaelrusso Osoyoos in the Oakanagan valley for me.

@raeraegck Cold Lake, AB or Bagotville, QC

@casadelhumidor at Home near my beer fridge and craft beer :)

@tastingtoronto fave place to vacation in #Canada is actually where I live in #Toronto - big fan of the staycation, I'm a tourist in my city!

Keith M. Tofino, BC without a doubt. Nothing like a Steam Whistle after a good day in the surf!

Jeffrey H. Give me anywhere on the water in Ontario! North Bay is quite nice and there are some lakeside spots in Southwestern Ontario that are great - like Port Dover and Grand Bend.

Sylvain C. my own backyard as long as I got some Steam Whistle on hand...

Mike P. Newfoundland! That's coming from an Albertan.

Share your summer vacations with us!
