Steam Whistle - Do One Thing Really, Really Well

Unsigned London

Steam Whistle hosts first ever Unsigned concert in London, Ontario.

Craft brewery Steam Whistle hosts first ever UNSIGNED London – a concert in support of Canadian independent music artists. The Unsigned series started in Toronto five years ago, soon making its way to Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, with the idea of giving back and helping the growth of Canada’s indie music community. Friday September 13 2013 is the first time that a series will be taking place in London at Museum London featuring Digits, Ark Analog, and Wild Domestic. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are only $5 at the door with 100% of proceeds going back to the community through Music Ontario.

About the bands
Digits

An Unsigned alumni, Digits is an electronic pop musician in Toronto and Berlin. His music has been acclaimed by The FaderThe Guardian, and the Toronto Star. He uses an experimental distribution model, which Wired called "bold and brave". Performing using two synthesizers, a laptop, and a looping pedal to reproduce his songs live, he's opened for Junior Boys, Yacht, Class Actress, and Au Palais. Digits is also a member of super-slow electronic R&B act Bad Passion and blogs at Silent Shout.

Ark Analog
“Ark Analog is billed simply as ‘dance music from Toronto.’ Their debut single is called "Make Me a Mirror," and it's a blippy electronic pop song that sounds a bit like the synth-sparkled soundtrack of a outer-space-themed videogame from the '80s. It was jointly written and produced by Todd and Werb, while Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys mixed the track and assisted with production.” - Exclaim

Wild Domestic
"Both Drummers are still there, and on their recent 7" split (with Hamilton torch carriers WTCHS, London noise/punk duo I SMELL BLOOD, and Guelph's BLEET), Wild Domestic return to the root of their riff-driven exploratories with the frenetic surf in "old water sports". Tapering the shoe-gaze and post-rock instrumentals that made them popular, Wild Domestic hit the road to prep a new record with a batch of songs that are going to melt your #%$@ing face." -Out of Sound Records
