Our Brew Master

Our Brew Master, Marek Mikunda hails from the Czech Republic - the birthplace of Pilsners. His early training at the Prague Technical School of Food Sciences was followed by five years of university in Master Brewer studies at the renowned Prague Institute of Chemical Technologies. Marek then spent 6 years brewing at the world famous Pilsner Urquell Brewery. In Canada, he held Assistant Brew Master positions at both Labatt and Creemore Springs Brewing before landing as Brew Master for Steam Whistle Brewing. His origins, combined with the depth of his knowledge and his passion for brewing is what drives him to make Steam Whistle Canada's Premium Pilsner.
