Ingredients

We use only four all-natural ingredients to brew Canada's Premium Pilsner.

Following the Bavarian Purity Act or Reinheitsgebot, writen in 1516, which states that only malt, hops, water and yeast may be used in brewing, Steam Whistle is crafted using only the finest of these four ingredients, all GMO free.

Malted Barley

Essential cereal grain used in brewing beer.

For Steam Whistle, we use Pale Two Row Barley from Saskatchewan, known around the world for its superior harvest.

Spring Water

Crucial to the style of beer being produced.

Pilsners prefer hard water. We source our Spring Water from Caledon, Ontario for the ideal mineral content.

Hops

A green cone flower that contributes flavour and aroma to beer.

We use Bavarian and Czech hops to perfect our Premium Pilsner.

Yeast

Naturally occurring micro organism.

In Steam Whistle, we use bottom fermented (lager) yeast (Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis Pastorianus).
