Dr. Mike Kiraly

Mike Kiraly introduced beautiful British Columbia to Steam Whistle Pilsner. Kiraly (as we know him) is not only one of Steam Whistle Brewing's oldest employees (joining the Good Beer Folk team only weeks after we opened our doors in the summer of 2000); he is the first member of our team to earn a PhD! While Kiraly was completing his doctoral studies, he always worked part time at the brewery, guiding visitors around our brewery, stacking bottles on our production line, and hauling kegs around Toronto as a delivery driver. He continues to hold a part time professorship at Capilano University while working as our new Sales Representative in B.C.!
