  May Art Show

During the month of May, Steam Whistle is hosting CONTACT Photography Festival’s Building Storeys. This exhibit is a visual documentation and anecdotal exhibit of Toronto’s cherished heritage buildings and sites, as they relate to transportation in our city. The project brings together both the heritage and arts communities in collaboration to create awareness of the depth of our city’s heritage.

Read a Q&A with Gary Miedema, Chief Historian and Associate Director at Heritage Toronto, who discusses how the exhibit came about.
